2017 was a significant year for Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art. In August we presented STAGES: Drawing the Curtain, a series of temporary public sculptures and performances throughout Winnipeg featuring new work by nine international and local artists. In January we mounted the first Canadian solo exhibitions of American artists Angie Keefer and Fred Sandback.
Plug In ICA is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Curatorial Assistant Summer Intern. The candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in contemporary art, particularly as a curator or related practice.

Wood Land School has been invited to Plug In ICA, as a part of their 2016 Summer Institute. Artist Duane Linklater and curator Jaimie Isaac will lead a group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants through a series of texts, ﬁlms, ﬁeld trips and studio time for three weeks in the city of Winnipeg.
