Artist talk with Cathy Busby

Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art is pleased to present “Pickled Art Centre: Working Within Artist-run Culture in Beijing”, a talk by visiting artist Cathy Busby on Sunday, April 14th at 3:00 pm. The talk is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Cathy Busby is Canadian artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has a PhD in Communication (Concordia University, Montreal) and was a Fulbright Scholar at New York University. She has an MA in Media Studies (Concordia University) and a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She has been doing projects and exhibiting her work internationally over the past 20 years including annual exhibitions in Beijing 2007-2010. Currently she is the artist-in-residence at Emily Carr University.
