Respondent Series Screening | Bonjour aux amis de calamité curated by Jean-Paul Kelly

As part of our Respondent Series and in conjunction with Jean-Paul Kelly’s current exhibition, “That ends that matter,” Plug In ICA presents Bonjour aux amis de calamité, [B.A.A.D.C] a screening of film and videos curated by Kelly. The screening offers insight into Kelly’s working method and continued conflation of the decisions made by journalists with those made under the aesthetic conventions of the visual artist, aligning the objective principles of documentary with the subjective process of selection by artists. Kelly will join us in a video chat to introduce the screening and his curatorial thinking.
