November 13 – December 18, 2019 | Wed. 4:30 – 8:00, Sat. 12:00 – 4:00
Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art | 1, 460 Portage Ave | Winnipeg MB | Canada
The Interpreting [Interrupting] Youth program at Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art will give you a behind the scenes glimpse into artists, curation, documentation and discussion in the world of Contemporary Art.
In collaboration with Just TV you will work in groups of 4-6 to produce a short video documenting your experience and interpretations of the artwork presented at Plug In ICA. At the end of the course there will be a public screening and panel discussion. Throughout the course of this program you will learn valuable skills in art education, communications, journalism and videography.
This workshop is free and open to anyone between the ages of 16 and 24. A healthy meal is included during every class. If you would like to sign up please fill out the registration form and email it to nasrin@plugin.org. View our past Interpreting [Interrupting] Youth sessions here.
