New publications at Plug In ICA Art Book Shop + holiday hours

Plug In Editions is pleased to announce the recent release of a beautiful new catalogue, Mélanie Rocan: Souvenir involontaire. The bilingual, softcover catalogue, includes more than 50 full-colour illustrations and essays by Ann MacDonald, Curator at the Doris McCarthy Gallery and Josée Drouin-Brisebois, Curator of Contemporary Art at the National Gallery of Canada.

Based in Winnipeg, Mélanie Rocan completed her Masters in Fine Arts, painting program at Concordia University (Montreal). Rocan’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (Toronto), Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery (Montreal), La Maison des Artistes Visuels Francophones (Winnipeg), Project Room (Glasgow, Scotland), Winnipeg Art Gallery and Plug In ICA (Winnipeg). Rocan is represented by Paul Petro Contemporary Art (Toronto).

Plug In ICA’s administrative offices will be closed for the holidays from December 24th through January 2nd.

The Plug In ICA Art Book Shop and galleries will be closed December 25th, 26th, and New Years Day and will otherwise be open regular hours.
