Plug In ICA Announces New Communications Intern
Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art is delighted to announce a new addition to our team for the fall and winter. Please join us in welcoming Raquel Torres, our Communications Intern.
Raquel Torres (she/her) graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Communications. Inspired by art, film, and literature, she is passionate about impactful storytelling. With a desire to express compelling narratives through an artistic lens, she is excited to highlight the community’s contemporary art scene and contribute to the creative and collaborative culture at Plug In ICA.
As the Communications Intern, Raquel will participate in a broad range of activities that include various aspects of overseeing and being responsible for the communications, marketing and administrative activities of a contemporary art gallery or museum.
We are excited to have Raquel join our team this fall!
This is a paid internship opportunity funded in part by Young Canada Works through the Canadian Museums Association.
