Plug In ICA Announces New Communications Intern
Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art is delighted to announce a new addition to our team for the fall and winter. Please join us in welcoming Brian, our Communications Intern!
Brian Guevarra (he/him) is a recent graduate from the University of Manitoba’s Bachelors of Fine Arts Honours program. As an interdisciplinary artist and designer, his work seeks to push boundaries and create community through visual creativity. He is excited to work with Plug In ICA to highlight the vibrancy of our city’s local art scene.
We are excited to have Brian join our team this fall!
This is a paid internship opportunity funded in part by Young Canada Works through the Canadian Museums Association.
Plug In ICA is located on Treaty 1 Territory; the ancestral homelands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the National homeland of the Red River Métis. We are grateful for the water that is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. Plug In ICA is committed to reconciliation by eliminating barriers for artists, allowing them to share their work in connection with community and reconstructing institutional practices guided by diverse perspectives.
