The Plug In ICA Book Shop and Galleries will be open over the holidays, closed only December 25th, 26th, and New Years Day.

New Titles in the Plug In ICA Book Shop

Plug In ICA’s Book Shop is a vibrant source for contemporary art books and magazines, a trove of novels, catalogues, magazines and artist multiples rarely found elsewhere and an international destination for lovers of contemporary art and language.

We have a number of new publications from Semiotext(e), an independent publisher of critical theory, fiction, philosophy, art criticism, activist texts and non-fiction, including: When The Sick Rule the World by Dodie Bellamy, Video Green by Chris Kraus, Reena Spaulings by The Bernadette Corporation, Under the Sign of [sic] by Bruce Hainley, and Desert Islands by Gilles Deleuze. We have several new titles from Documents of Contemporary Art, includingFailure, Utopia, Situation, The Archive, Education, and The Artists Joke. There is also so much more.

Our very own Plug In Editions publications and prints include exhibition catalogues that provide a record of our diverse exhibition program. They can be viewed online.

Artworks for Sale

We have a selection of 4” by 4” works available, which includes works by acclaimed artists Scott Benesiinaabandan, Hannah Doucet, Ashley Gillanders, Maegan Hill-Carroll, Christopher Lacroix, and Elise Rasmussen. These unique and small works make a perfect holiday gift.

Plug In ICA’s administrative offices will be closed for the holidays from December 24th through January 3rd.
